| Vanport's Handy Helpers came out to day and moved my 62" big screen TV. It went up 13 stairs that curved to the left. I was very impressed. my friends ( 4 of us ) try-ed yesterday and could not move it. if you need help you would be missing out not calling them. Total $135 my name is Pat O"Conner
I moved the other day. I used this Company and It was a great choice. They were very helpful, fast, and safe. Nothing went wrong or broke. They packed and loaded our stuff like the pros they were. I will use them again and refer them to my friends. I don't know allot about them except I was impressed. My place was a large two bed room Apartment. I was moved and unloaded in 4 hours and, when I moved in last year I took 9 hr. These people are great.... signed Terra Muldoon We had our piano moved yesterday morning by Handy helpers. Tina Smith-Davis Total $135 Hi, I just wanted to post a quick thank you and recommendation for Vanport's Handy Helpers moving company. They were hard working, quick, & professional. The gear they moved was high end electronic equipment of various & odd shapes. All was packed well and made it safely. If you have questions, I'll be happy to respond. Doug We just moved out of our home in Hillsboro to new home in Beaverton and utilized Handy Helpers to move all the large and heavy items in our home (took washer/dryer, king bed, large chest of drawers, entertainment center, 36" TV, desk, sleeper sofa, baby changing table, etc.. on one trip and placed them throughout the new house).They have all the pads/straps/dollies and everything arrived safe and without damage and was wrapped during transport. Their quote was $280 (they were tipped as they earned it), and it was money very well spent considering the quality of job they did and the number of steps at both residences and some difficulty with desk (which had to be removed through a window). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone on craigslist or elsewhere. Hey there; You're guys just left and they did an absolutely great job! The were both professional and courteous. The Taylors, Brook & Bill $2,200 The Handy Helpers showed up early and were very friendly and helpful the entire time. They shrink wrapped items carefully. I was impressed with their special equipment, and their ability to pack the truck so efficiently. When they unloaded the items at our new house, they thoughtfully created a pathway in the garage, which helped us move around easily while unpacking. We would definitely hire them again. Wendy & Don Smith $642.00 Two men and my truck picked up a new king size bed at a home in Portland. There were a number of outside stairs. They delivered the bed to a new manufactured home in Oregon City. The house was still under construction, and they moved the one set of temporary steps from the back to the front for easier maneuverability. They used a special carrier to lift the very heavy mattress into the house. At my request, they moved patio items which were in the way of the steps, and placed them in back of the house and they put the steps back. They moved a number of big moving cartons that were stacked to the ceiling and placed a dresser and buffet in place. The movers were very polite with my daughter when picking up the bed. They were efficient and careful in getting the bed out of the house. They arrived at my home in a timely manner and figured out right away how to get the bed in. They were extra careful about not getting mud in the house. They were obviously experienced in moving such a heavy bed. They were careful and courteous in moving the cartons and furniture around.
